Job summary

Merlin is seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to maintain LEGOLAND Windsor’s rides and attractions. You’ll service electrical and mechanical systems, perform PPMs, diagnose faults and support refurbishment projects in a busy theme park environment.

The role requires PLC, motor testing and electrical schematics proficiency, with a focus on safety, reliability and continuous improvement across a range of technologies.

Qualifications

• ONC/NVQ Level 3 or BTEC in engineering via apprenticeship or college route.
• Recognised electrical engineering qualification and hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience with electrical maintenance, fault finding and diagnostics in industrial settings.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and safety checks on rides and systems.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and perform reactive maintenance to maximise availability.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, control systems, sensors, drives and electrical equipment.
• Conduct electrical condition reporting and inspections on ride systems and installations.
• Perform motor testing, diagnostics and condition monitoring.
