Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is helping a long-established UK manufacturer in Shaftesbury, Dorset recruit an Electrical/Controls/PLC Engineer. You will develop PLC/controls on a modern manufacturing site, with Mitsubishi PLC training and long-term development opportunities.

You will support electrical/controls systems, fault-find on plant equipment, and participate in improvement projects. Monday to Friday, days-based, with a base salary of £51,125 plus a bonus and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer with some PLC/controls exposure or keen to develop into controls and automation.
• Experience with fault-finding on manufacturing equipment.
• Willing to train on Mitsubishi PLC and develop controls capability.

Responsibilities

• Support site electrical/controls systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA and drives.
• Fault-finding on plant issues and supporting the engineering team.
• Assist with design, installation, commissioning including P&IDs, panels.
