Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Assessor / Tutor to deliver Level 3 Electrical Installation training in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire.

You will assess learners in a high-tech centre, support NVQ portfolios and progress reviews, and prepare for End Point Assessment and AM2. The role requires NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, assessor and teaching qualifications, industry electrician experience, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation is required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations must be satisfied.
• Assessor qualification such as CAVA/A1 or equivalent is required.
• Teaching qualification such as AET/PTLLS or equivalent is required.
• Experience as a qualified electrician in industry is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Level 3 Electrical / Electrotechnical Installation training to apprentices.
• Assess learners in a high-tech training centre.
• Support apprentices with NVQ portfolios and progress reviews.
• Prepare learners for End Point Assessment and AM2.
• Work closely with employers to monitor apprentice development.
