Job summary

AB Dynamics is seeking an Electrical Technician to support the Operations department at Bradford on Avon. You will wire, loom and assemble cables, solder components, and perform basic fault finding in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Essential experience includes electrical assembly and reading engineering schematics, with good PC skills and a strong safety mindset. The role offers a career path within a lean, quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing and/or final testing.
• Electrical assembly experience/engineering background.
• Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Access).
• Reading and following procedures, processes and guidelines.
• Proficiency with MS Office package.

Responsibilities

• Routing/Looming wires and cable in a chassis using lacing cord.
• Soldering THT and SMT components.
• Basic fault finding/testing using a DVM.
• Crimping and cable assemblies.
• Box builds and related assembly work.
• Support department targets and deadlines.
• Proactive problem solving to reduce downtime.
• Support quality processes (NCR, CAPA, 8D, ERP).
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and uphold safety culture.
• Lead by example in lean operations.
