Job summary

Veolia Water Technology in Peterborough is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician to join our site at the Peterborough Service Centre. You will fabricate, install and document electrical systems and work with single-phase, three-phase, low- and extra-low voltage circuits.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations is mandatory.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge required.
• Experience in industrial electrical works and PLC controlled equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication, installation and documentation of electrical systems.
• Work with single-phase, three-phase, low- and extra low voltage circuits.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot electrical instrumentation and mechanical equipment.
• Commissioning of equipment and testing of electrical systems.
• Maintain quality control and safety standards.
