Jobsinkent is seeking an Assembly Team Supervisor for an Edenbridge-based role within a growing manufacturing business. The position is hands-on at first, leading a small assembly team and coordinating day-to-day operations on the shop floor.

You will gain familiarity with products and processes, then supervise team workload, ensure quality, and provide technical support to teammates while maintaining smooth production flow.

Qualifications

• Good experience in electronic, electrical or similar assembly.
• Previous experience of supervising, mentoring or leading a small team.
• People management skills.
• Strong practical and technical assembly skills.
• Experience with soldering and electronic components.
• A practical, hands-on approach.
• The confidence to take responsibility and make decisions when required.
• The ability to work independently while supporting and working closely with a small team.

Responsibilities

• Electronic assembly, component assembly and production.
• Soldering and working with electronic components.
• Quality testing and inspection.
• Following assembly instructions, specifications and technical information.
• Identifying and resolving assembly or quality issues.
• Supervising and supporting a small team.
• Organising the teams day-to-day workload.
• Making sure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Supporting team members with assembly queries and technical issues.
• Checking quality and ensuring processes are followed.
• Helping to train and develop team members.
• Managing materials and ensuring the team has what it needs to complete the work.
• Identifying and helping to resolve any production or quality issues.
• Acting as the main point of contact for the assembly team.
• Working closely with the wider business to keep the assembly operation running smoothly.
