Electrical Assembler/Line Wirer

Temp to Perm, £13.65p/hr to £14.91p/hr DOE, 39hrs per week, Day shifts, Mon to Fri

LEEDS

I am looking for highly experienced Electrical Assemblers/Line Wirers to work for a busy Manufacturing and Engineering company based near to Yeadon, Leeds. Although advertised as Temp to Perm, these roles could be Permanent from day one for the right candidate.

The role is more complicated than just Line Wiring and will be suited to Part Qualified Electricians or Electrician’s Mates who want to work in a workshop and away from Site work or candidates who come from an Electrical Engineering background. Ideal candidates must have previous Electrical experience or come from an electrical manufacturing/production background and must have Loom experience. You must have the ability to think logically, be able to work from schematic drawings, have good communication skills, be willing to be decisive and make decisions, and be a team player.

You will be working in the Chillers Department wiring the insides of the various machines as well as Control Panel Wiring and Line Wiring. Other tasks will include:

1. Working from schematics
2. Numbering cables
3. Looming and crimping
4. Soldering
5. Testing/Fault finding
6. Completing work to a high standard

You will be working 6am to 2.30pm from Mon to Thurs with an 11.45am finish on a Fri. The role is advertised as Temp to Perm with a Pay Rate of between £13.65p/hr to £14.91p/hr Depending on Experience and Qualification. These roles could be Permanent from day one for the right candidates.
