Job Description:

SWIFT Temps Ltd Engineering Recruitment Division is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Permanent Semi-Skilled Control Panel Wirer in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company involved in the design and manufacture of electrical control panels. It’s ideal for candidates with some wiring experience who are looking to grow their skills in a long-term role.

Main Duties:

·Assist in the assembly and wiring of control panels

·Follow basic wiring diagrams and layout drawings

·Strip, crimp, and terminate cables to specification

·Mount components such as relays, terminal blocks, and switches

·Support skilled panel builders with layout and wiring

·Maintain a clean and safe working area

·Conduct basic electrical checks (e.g. continuity)

Candidate Requirements:

·Previous experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or similar

·Able to read basic electrical diagrams (training can be provided)

·Proficient in electrical systems and components

·Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble complex systems

·Experience with logic controllers and their programming is advantageous

·Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT) is preferred

·Competent in using hand tools and power tools safely

Desirable:

• Level 2 Electrical qualification (or similar)
• Experience in a manufacturing or automation environment

Working Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30

Friday: 07:30 – 13:30

39-hour working week

Overtime available and paid at enhanced rates

Pay:

£13.00 – £13.50 per hour (depending on experience, PAYE) Accrued holiday pay
