Job summary

Fusion People is seeking an Electrical Assembler for a temp-to-perm role based in Stoke-on-Trent. The successful candidate will assemble and wire high-spec trailer chassis and components, ensuring quality workmanship for blue-chip clients.

You will work from engineering drawings and schematics, adapting to day or night shifts as required. Role emphasizes fault finding, use of hand and air tools, and safe working practices in a small, focused team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Duration: Temp to perm
Shifts: Days or Nights( Days 7.30am-5pm, Mon to Thurs, 7.30am – 12.30pm Fri. Nights 6pm -6am Mon to Thurs.)

PAYE Days £15.07-£15.57 Nights £19.59- £20.24 (DOE)

The Role:

Reporting to the Electrical Workshop Manager, you will be involved in the build and assembly of high-quality, in-house designed trailer chassis, decks, and associated components. This is a varied role working on low-volume, high-specification vehicles for major blue-chip clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and maintenance of electrical systems on commercial trailers
• Fault finding and diagnostics across a range of vehicle electrical systems
• Working from technical drawings and wiring schematics
• Assisting in the assembly of bespoke trailer components
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
