Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Fitter to join a market-leading manufacturing company in Derby, focusing on electrical systems for specialist vehicle builds.

You will run wiring looms, install 12v/24v systems, wire fuse boxes and control panels, and work from wiring diagrams and build specifications. In-house training and a strong holiday entitlement are provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of 12v and 24v vehicle electrical systems.
• Experience as an Electrical Fitter Engineer or Auto Electrician is advantageous.
• Experience as CCTV/Alarm Engineer or Telematics Engineer is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Running wiring looms through vehicles.
• Install 12v and 24v electrical systems during van fit-outs.
• Wiring and fitting looms, fuse boxes, relays, and control panels.
• Splicing, trunking, and soldering.
• Working from wiring diagrams and build specifications.

About the electrical fitter role

We are seeking an Electrical Fitter to join our market-leading and rapidly growing manufacturing company in Derby. You will assist with the manufacture of specialist vehicles, focusing on electrical systems and installations.

Key Responsibilities of the electrical fitter

• Running wiring looms through vehicles


• Install 12v and 24v electrical systems during van fit-outs


• Wiring and fitting looms, fuse boxes, relays, and control panels


• Splicing, trunking, and soldering


• Working from wiring diagrams and build specifications

The successful electrical fitter candidate may have the following experience

• Knowledge of 12v and 24v vehicle electrical systems


• Electrical Fitter Engineer


• Auto Electrician


• CCTV/Alarm Engineer


• Telematics Engineer


• Or hold relevant NVQ qualifications / time-served experience.
