Job summary
Barking & Dagenham College is seeking an Apprenticeship Trainer Coach-Electrical to join the Apprenticeships team on a full-time, 36 hours per week, permanent basis. The role involves delivering and developing apprenticeship standards, monitoring apprentices to achieve positive outcomes, and supporting workplace learning across sites.
You will assess Level 3 Electrical Installation apprentices in workplaces, assist curriculum design, develop lesson resources, coach to meet standards, visit
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification.
- Assessors award, Level 3 Electrical Installations qualifications.
- Level 2 English and Maths.
- Experience working with a training provider teaching/assessing apprentices.
- Teaching qualification is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assess Level 3 Electrical Installation apprentices in workplaces, carrying out progress reviews and portfolio workshops.
- Support curriculum design for relevant apprenticeship standards and work-related training.
- Assist development of planning and teaching resources including course outline, scheme of work, lesson plans and online resources.
- Coach apprentices in line with apprenticeship standards, core skills and work-related training.
- Visit and actively support apprentices within the workplace, monitoring progress.
- Complete and maintain all apprenticeship reports, assessment forms and other relevant documentation.
