Job summary

Adsyst Automation Ltd invites applications for an Apprentice Electrical Technician at our Sandhurst head office. The role includes day-release City and Guilds Electrotechnical apprenticeship training (5357-03/23) starting September 2026 with travel to colleges.

You will design and build electrical control systems, read drawings, and gain hands-on experience with PLC and HMI/SCADA software. We offer a structured path from apprentice to skilled electrical technician, with a competitive salary

Qualifications

Interest in Electrical Engineering
Understanding of electrical diagrams for control panel wiring
Full UK driving licence
Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

Design, develop, install and maintain electrical control systems and components to specification
Reading design specifications and technical drawings
Aiding in the production of FDS, RAMS and method statements
Opportunity to learn PLC software development
Opportunity to learn HMI/SCADA software development
Site installation and commissioning
Customer facing role
