Job summary

Axis CLC is seeking an apprentice to gain practical electrical trades experience while studying toward NVQ Level 3 and the Level 3 Apprenticeship. You’ll learn on the job and attend college weekly, with a view to a permanent position on successful completion.

You’ll work under an experienced mentor, develop costs awareness, and ensure safe electrical work while meeting college requirements and AxisCLC standards.

Qualifications

• GCSEs ( Maths and English ) at grade 4/C or higher or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and presentable appearance.
• Positive attitude to work with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical work in line with health and safety policies.
• Record work and administration within AxisCLC standards and timescales.
• Report health and safety issues to supervisors and managers.
• Work as part of a team with apprentices, operatives, clients and tenants.
• Attend induction, health and safety training and college induction.
• Attend college and complete NVQ portfolio requirements with mentor.
