Job summary

Brompton Bicycle is seeking a hands-on Systems Integration Engineer to ensure the reliability and excellence of its electric drive systems. You will run comprehensive verification and validation across software and hardware platforms, testing prototypes and supporting integration on current and future Brompton product lines.

You will develop new test methods, maintain test jigs, and drive improvements to the validation landscape.

Qualifications

• Hands-on in lab to test parts of an electric-assisted bicycle.
• Translate test results into actionable insights with the development team.
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop or physical test rigs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electro-mechanical components and drive systems to validate SW, HW and technologies.
• Validate outsourced components (batteries, HMI, sensors) for performance, safety, and reliability.
• Identify integration issues and bugs, perform root-cause analysis and propose fixes or mitigations.
