Job summary

CV Technical is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a day shift in the UK. The role covers fault finding and repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including PLCs, motors and inverters.

You will work on single and three-phase electrical systems, maintain conveyors and production machinery, and fabricate parts as needed. Candidates should have at least 3 years in maintenance engineering, experience in manufacturing, and electrical qualifications such

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Maintenance Engineer.
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Electrical qualification such as City & Guilds, 18th Edition or NVQ Level 3+.
• Experience with single and three-phase electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Job description

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Overtime/Shift Allowance at 1.25x

Day shift

The successful candidate will ideally be dual-skilled in mechanical and electrical maintenance and have experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, plastics, aerospace, automotive, precision engineering or similar environment.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Fault finding and repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Fault finding and replacement of PLCs, motors and inverters.
• Working on both single and three-phase electrical systems.
• Electrical maintenance including lighting, wiring, testing and alarm systems
• Maintaining and repairing conveyors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems and production machinery
• Fabricating and producing replacement repair parts where required.

You will ideally have:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Maintenance Engineer.
• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• A relevant electrical qualification such as City & Guilds, 18th Edition or NVQ Level 3+.
• Experience working with single and three-phase electrical systems.
• Experience within a foundry environment would be advantageous.
