Job summary

Davies is seeking a Liability Claims Handler to join our Casualty team in Stoke-on-Trent. This role involves providing a quality claims service, handling EL/PL/Products claims proactively, and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.

Ideal candidates will have experience in injury claims and a background in the insurance or legal fields. Benefits include a pension plan, professional development funding, and 25 days of holiday.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling any type of injury claims.
• Experience of working in an insurance and/or legal environment.
• Knowledge of how to value an injury claim.
• Knowledge of reserving philosophies.

Responsibilities

• Establish if cover is in place for the claim.
• Record all claims on the digital claims handling system.
• Investigate all liability claims.
• Make decisions on liability and negotiate settlements.
• Ensure compliance with legal timescales and client SLA’s.
