Job summary

Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust in Stevenage is recruiting a Band 4 STaR Worker to join the Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Team on a 3-month fixed-term contract.

You will provide practical support, assertive engagement and recovery-focused interventions to people experiencing a first episode of psychosis, working with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and carers.

Qualifications

• Qualifications include NVQ level 3 or mental health certificate level 3, or equivalent experience.
• Training to undertake further resources-permitted training as soon as available.
• Experience in mental health support is desirable.

Responsibilities

• To provide support, give time to an allocated group of service users and thus promote recovery of service users and promote carers wellbeing in the broader community.
• Responsible for providing support to the care co-ordinator, in the implementation of a recovery focused care plan and ensuring that carers are also supported alongside the service user recovery.
• To ensure that service users engage beneficially with the agreed Care Plan and access appropriate services provided on a regular and consistent
• To positively promote independent living of service users within
• To enable staff to provide support with daily living of ordinary lives

Skills

Basic written and verbal communication
