Job summary

United Infrastructure Power T&D Ltd is seeking an EHV Cables Construction Manager to join our site-based team. You will support project delivery for underground cables and related cabling works across England & Wales, coordinating construction plans and procurement with field staff and engineers.

You will bring substantial site management experience, technical knowledge of civil/cable/electrical aspects, and expertise in cable installation, jointing and testing.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience of managing sites and field-based staff on cable or substation projects.
• Technical expertise of the civil, cable and/or electrical aspects of cabling projects.
• Experience in cable installation, jointing and testing.
• Knowledge of distribution network operators.

Responsibilities

• Support the project manager and deliver key packages of cabling construction projects.
• Assist in the production of construction plans and coordinate the engineering support team.
• Procurement of construction materials and specialist subcontracts for successful delivery of projects.
• Flexibility for travel and work throughout England & Wales.
