Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking an EHS Specialist to support and drive our health, safety, and environmental programme on a 6-month contract in Coventry. You will ensure compliance, deliver training, and promote a strong safety culture in a fast-paced engineering environment.

The role requires NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) with ISO 14001/45001 experience, plus strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. A proactive, organised contributor is essential.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH-qualified (or equivalent) with an environmental qualification such as IEMA or IOSH.
• Experience managing or supporting ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.
• Background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of EHS legislation and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proactive, organised and capable of influencing change across the business.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Advise managers and employees on EHS best practices and compliance requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
• Deliver EHS training and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor environmental performance and support sustainability goals.
• Analyse and report EHS metrics and drive corrective actions.
