A leading environmental consultancy is seeking an EHS & Quality Adviser for a 6-month contract in Clitheroe, onsite. The role involves maintaining and improving EHS & Quality management systems and delivering training to promote safety culture. Ideal candidates will possess a NEBOSH certificate and relevant experience in high hazard or chemical manufacturing. Qualifications

  • Relevant EHS workplace experience in a high hazard or chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of EHS legislation, occupational health, environmental monitoring, and waste management.
  • Experience with integrated management systems and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain, and improve site EHS & Quality management systems.
  • Develop and deliver effective EHS training and promote a proactive safety culture.
  • Advise managers on compliance with EHS and quality policies.
  • Conduct audits to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
  • Liaise with external providers for occupational health and emissions monitoring.
  • Support accident and incident investigations.
  • Administer the site’s Integrated Management System.
