Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking an experienced OH&S professional to implement and manage the division's safety program. You will lead emergency response drills and deliver annual safety training while liaising with multiple functions across the business.

The role requires NEBOSH certification (or equivalent) and experience with ISO45001/ISO14001 standards, with strong literacy/numeracy and technical understanding of manufacturing. Based in Banbury, UK.

Qualifications

MAFACT processes and internal training.
Able to liaise with other functions and departments at all levels within the Company.
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
Expert knowledge of Occupational, Health and Safety management systems with emphasis on hazard identification and risk/opportunities assessment.
Holds NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent, Environmental qualification.
Ideally ISO45001/ISO14001 Internal or Lead Auditor.
Has basic knowledge of ISO14001 Environmental standard.
Technical understanding of manufacturing or engineering systems.
Good computer literacy skills e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email.
Must be able to deliver a range of OH&S topics as part of annual training.

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor the division’s Emergency Response Plan with on-site drills at least twice a year.
Deliver a range of OH&S topics as part of annual training.
Liaise with other functions and departments at all levels within Magna.
Maintain strong literacy and numeracy standards across the team.
