Job summary

NP Aerospace Limited is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead and continually improve our EHS strategy across multiple Coventry sites. You will oversee ISO management systems, audits, training, and risk reduction, shaping safety culture in a high‑stakes manufacturing environment.

You’ll work with senior leaders to ensure compliance with UK EHS legislation and drive continuous improvement across operations, facilities, and teams.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH National General Diploma (or higher) in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Extensive Environmental, Health & Safety experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum seven years' experience in an EHS advisory or management role.
• Experience managing Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Experience leading internal and external audits and working with regulatory bodies such as the HSE.
• Strong knowledge of UK Environmental, Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience leading incident investigations, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a practical, hands‑on approach.
• Experience using AI tools or a willingness to learn and apply them within the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead Environmental, Health & Safety across Coventry sites to ensure legal compliance and continually improve safety culture.
• Maintain and drive ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards; coordinate audits and regulatory liaison.
• Champion risk management through hazard assessments, COSHH, incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Lead EHS training, competency matrices, inductions, and provide expert advice across the business.
• Adopt AI tools or learn to apply them to enhance EHS processes and decision making.
