McCarthy Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager for a busy manufacturing site in Oldham. You will own H&S across the site, drive a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with ISO 9001/14001/45001 and UK health & safety legislation.

You will lead risk assessments, audits and incident investigations, developing safe systems of work and training programs. A NEBOSH qualification is essential, with a NEBOSH Diploma preferred, and you will collaborate closely with

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification essential and NEBOSH Diploma preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 management systems.
• Sound understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, audits and incident investigations.

Responsabilités

• Taking ownership of Health & Safety policies, procedures and standards across the site.
• Drive a positive safety culture and accountability at all levels.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify improvements.
• Investigate accidents and near misses and implement corrective actions.
• Develop safe systems of work and control measures.
• Work with operational managers to implement practical solutions.
• Support H&S training and employee awareness.
