As EHS Manager, you will take ownership of Health, Safety, and Environmental performance across our portfolio of grid-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects throughout the UK. Working closely with engineering, operations, contractors, clients, and investors, you will ensure that all activities are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with industry best practice.
This role covers the full project lifecycle, from construction and commissioning through to long-term Operations & Maintenance (O&M). You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust HSE systems, leading audits and inspections, investigating incidents, and driving a proactive safety culture across multiple sites.
This role is a field base role including travelling to 3 locations in the UK.

You are a proactive and experienced HSE professional with a strong background in utility‑scale energy, power infrastructure, high‑voltage environments, or battery energy storage projects. You are confident working independently, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and driving continuous improvement across complex operational environments.
