Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited is offering an Environment Health and Safety internship placement based at Filton, Bristol with a 12.5 month duration. Start date is 16 August 2027 and applications close on 25 October 2026.

The role involves supporting EHS activities across UK sites with potential travel and strong interaction with the wider organisation. The successful candidate will be an undergraduate, with good writing skills, basic IT know-how, and the ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.

• Role involves stakeholder, brand and reputation management and engagement with internal and external audiences.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate verbally with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to and gain experience of all daily aspects of all functions within EHS and its customer base.
• Work with teams that EHS support to help drive improvements and synergies.
• Engage in Multi Functional Teams, such as sustainability, that EHS support or lead.
• Identify and develop improvements to EHS communication channels.
• Support the development, implementation and best use of electronic reporting and monitoring tools.
• Provide support in the research, delivery and evaluation of internal communication campaigns.
