Teledyne CML Composites, based in Bromborough, UK, seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead health, safety and environmental initiatives at the site. You will manage risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate internal audits and safety training within a high-precision manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with the EHS team, support external audits, and drive sustainability improvements while maintaining policies and budget controls.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of COSHH and standard Risk Assessments processes.
• IOSH or NEBOSH (preferred) qualified.
• Internal audit trained.
• Good understanding of ISO: 9001/14001/18001 management systems.
• Significant experience working in health & safety within an office and Research and development environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Environment, Health and Safety — ensure compliance with current legislation and policies.
• Maintain Health & Safety and Environmental Policies and ensure compliance with 45001 OHS.
• Participate in EHS team calls, projects and report metrics.
• Conduct risk assessments (COSHH, machinery, etc.).
• Lead HS and Environmental committee meetings; provide minutes and actions.
• Ensure training is up-to-date for Fire Officers/Marshalls and First Aiders.
• Manage site signage per regulations and carry out procedural tests (spill tests, fire drills, disaster recovery).
• Manage day-to-day Health & Safety issues, provisions and PPE.
• Identify sustainability improvements and assist with audits.
