Job summary

GBR Recruitment Ltd are exclusively partnering with a leading engineered products manufacturer near Northamptonshire to recruit an experienced Environmental Health Safety Coordinator (EHS). The role focuses on environmental control, permits, VOC records, and updating the EHS system while promoting a strong safety culture across the site.

Candidates should hold a NEBOSH Diploma and IOSH qualification, with manufacturing/engineering experience and IT familiarity with HSE reporting systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in a EHS Coordinator/Advisor/Administrator role within complex manufacturing.
• IOSH qualification is a must have and NEBOSH Diploma completed.
• Manufacturing/Engineering experience and practical know-how.
• Familiar with environmental permits and VOC management.

Responsibilities

• Updating & maintaining the EHS management systems.
• Updating the VOC records.
• Environmental permit control measures ensuring adherence to them.
• SSOW creation.
• RAMS.
• EHS Training & guidance to staff.
• Toolbox talks & briefings.
• General health, safety & environmental support.
• Risk registers.
• COSHH data registers & chemical usage records.
• Assist in ensuring ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 compliance.
• Support the wider operation where required.
