Job summary

GBR Recruitment Ltd are exclusively working with a leading engineered products manufacturing business on the edge of Northamptonshire recruiting for an experienced NEBOSH Diploma qualified Environmental Health Safety Advisor (EHS) who is strong in EHS, with a key focus on all Environmental control measures across the business, including Environmental permits are updated, the EHS management system is maintained / updated & VOC records are kept updated.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma is required for the role.
• IOSH qualification is essential.
• Experience in EHS/SHE in manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Experience with Environmental Permits and VOC management.
• Proficient with computerised HSE/EHS reporting systems.
• Able to engage all levels to promote safety culture and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain the EHS management systems.
• Update VOC records and environmental permit controls.
• Create and maintain SSOW (Safe System of Work) and RAMS.
• Provide EHS training and guidance to staff.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Provide general health, safety and environmental support.
• Maintain risk registers and COSHH data records.
• Assist in meeting ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 standards.
• Support wider operation as required.
