Job summary

GBR Recruitment Ltd are exclusively working with a leading engineered products manufacturing business on the edge of Northamptonshire recruiting an experienced Environmental Health Safety Coordinator (EHS) with a focus on environmental control measures and VOC records.

The role requires updating EHS management systems, maintaining VOC records, and driving ISO 9001/14001/45001 compliance while promoting a strong safety culture across a complex manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma and IOSH qualification are essential.
• Experience in a complex engineered/manufacturing environment is required.
• IT literacy with computerised HSE/EHS reporting systems is essential.
• Knowledge of Environmental Permits and VOC is preferred.
• Ability to engage teams to adopt HSE processes and promote a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Updating & maintaining the EHS management systems
• Updating the VOC records
• Environmental permit control measures ensuring adherence to them
• SSOW creation
• RAMS
• EHS Training & guidance to staff
• Toolbox talks & briefings
• General health, safety & environmental support
• Risk registers
• COSHH data registers & chemical usage records
• Assist in ensuring ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 compliance
• Support the wider operation where required
