Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated EHS Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Senior EHS Advisor and the EHS team in coordinating and administrating EHS tasks such as Risk Assessments, Framework tasks, and Action Management.
  2. Administer our training system called Spark for electronic training and organize physical training sessions.
  3. Ensure compliance with all EHS statutory requirements and support monthly reviews and updates.
  4. Manage the EHS portal for incident and action management (Eco-online) and communicate guidance on good practices.
  5. Support the development of a 'Just Safety Culture' and assist in the administration of EHS Framework and Blueprint strategies.
  6. Manage and update legal register software and legislative changes regarding EHS.
  7. Assist in gathering EHS & Carbon Footprint data for sustainability, environment, and waste management.
  8. Facilitate incident investigations and share learnings across the organization.
  9. Produce reports on health, safety, and environmental performance for continual improvement.
  10. Support the development of Safe Systems of Work, Standard Work, Tool Box Talks, and Process Standards.
  11. Assist in ISO 14001 & 45001 certification processes, audits, and action responses.
  12. Coordinate risk identification, assessments, and control strategies.
  13. Support incident escalation and investigations.
  14. Communicate with departments and external units on EHS matters.
  15. Participate in internal H&S and Environmental Committees.
  16. Manage contractor processes from pre-qualification to on-site monitoring.
  17. Contribute to Emergency Preparedness and Response activities.
  18. Engage with global EHS teams and sustainability initiatives.
  19. Assist in document creation and approval via eQMS system, TrackWise.
Skills/Experience:

Qualifications:

  • IOSH Managing Safely Certificate.
  • Level 3 H&S qualification (NGC) preferred, support available for obtaining it.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in EHS roles, manufacturing preferred.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with EHS computer systems.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001 standards.
  • Awareness of Lean Manufacturing techniques (desirable).
