Job summary

Suir Engineering is seeking an EHS Advisor to join the Interconnect project in Drax, Yorkshire. The role supports the EHS Manager to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, and to implement the Integrated Management System on site.

You will develop site-specific plans, become SME for high-risk activities, and help train personnel while promoting the Suir Way. This permanent, on-site role offers opportunities for growth across Europe.

Qualifications

• Health and Safety diploma/degree required.
• Minimum 2 years in Environmental Health and Safety role.
• Valid full drivers license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the EHS Manager to ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and Construction Team on Integrated Management System implementation.
• Set up Site-Specific Construction EHS Plan for projects.
• Become SME in Suir’s High Risk Activities (HRA) and control on site.
• Assist with Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Assist with SOP development and provide site training and communication.
• Promote the Suir Way and its Health & Safety interfaces.
• Report and investigate incidents, identify root causes and communicate outcomes.
