MK Search are partnering with a leading tier 1 M&E contractor to recruit an EHS Advisor to support a portfolio of commercial and aviation projects across London and the Southeast. Based in the London office and reporting directly to the UK Head of Health & Safety, you will work closely with project teams to maintain high environmental, health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as an EHS/Health & Safety Advisor in construction.
• Experience with an M&E contractor or building services is a plus.
• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate or equivalent.
• Strong communication and ability to engage site teams and management.
• Willing to travel to Heathrow, Northampton and Central London.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical EHS advice and support to project teams.
• Carry out site inspections and audits.
• Support the preparation and review of risk assessments and method statements.
• Monitor compliance with legislation and client requirements.
• Investigate incidents and near misses and share lessons learned.
• Deliver toolbox talks and EHS awareness initiatives.
• Promote a positive safety culture among employees and subcontractors.
• Report on EHS performance to UK Head of Health & Safety.

MK Search are working with a leading tier 1 M&E contractor to recruit an EHS Advisor to support a varied portfolio of commercial and aviation projects across London and the Southeast.

Based in the London office and reporting directly to the UK Head of Health & Safety, you will work closely with project teams to maintain high environmental, health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Provide practical EHS advice and support to project teams across multiple sites.
• Carry out site inspections and audits, ensuring actions are followed through.
• Support the preparation and review of risk assessments, method statements and project EHS documentation.
• Monitor compliance with legislation, company procedures and client requirements.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying corrective actions and sharing lessons learned.
• Deliver toolbox talks, briefings and EHS awareness initiatives.
• Promote a positive safety culture among employees and subcontractors.
• Report on EHS performance directly to the UK Head of Health & Safety.

About You

• Previous experience in an EHS or Health & Safety Advisor role within construction.
• Experience with an M&E contractor or building services projects would be advantageous.
• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate, or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with site teams and senior management.
• A practical, proactive approach to improving safety standards.
• Willingness to travel to projects in Heathrow, Northampton and Central London.
