Job summary

Learning Curve Group is seeking an EHCP Learning Support Assistant for a three-day weekly role in Coventry, focusing on learners with additional learning needs and EHCP plans. You will support access to a wide range of learning experiences and help tailor materials to individual needs.

Ideal candidates will have SEND experience with Post-16 learners and will work under the guidance of the SENCO, contributing to annual reviews while upholding safeguarding and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of EHCP and SEND needs for learners.
• Experience working with Post-16 learners.
• Calm, patient and supportive attitude.
• Ability to adapt materials to individual learning plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide structured support using EHCP plans within classroom or outdoor settings.
• Assist tutors by modifying materials and activities for learners with additional needs.
• Provide emotional support and positive reinforcement to learners.
• Maintain Learning Support Plans and contact logs accurately and timely.
• Support SENCO and attend annual reviews as required.
