Job summary

Academics in Slough is seeking an EHCP Teaching Assistant to support students with additional needs. A Psychology graduate will deliver 1:1 and small-group support aligned to EHCP targets, helping confidence, independence and participation in learning.

You will work with teachers and SEN staff to monitor progress, wellbeing and engagement, building strong relationships with pupils and colleagues. The role is full-time, starting in September, with daily pay in the £93–£110 range.

Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting young people with additional needs?

A specialist SEN school in Slough is seeking a dedicated and caring EHCP Teaching Assistant to join their team.

As an EHCP Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support tailored to students' individual EHCP targets and needs.
• Help students develop confidence, independence, communication, and active participation in learning.
• Support students with their academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
• Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to ensure students receive appropriate support in line with their EHCPs.
• Observe and monitor students' progress, wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement throughout the school day.
