An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Registered Nurse (RN - Child Branch or RSCN) to join our innovative Community Children's Nursing team. We deliver high quality care across NHS Grampian providing care for children and young people with acute and chronic conditions as well as end of life care.
We are looking for a confident innovative nurse to join the team, you will require to be a flexible practitioner within the community setting, a good team player and be able to develop collaborative working relationships with other health professionals from both local area and tertiary centres /Social Work/Education/ CHAS / 3rd sector agencies and voluntary agencies. You will work as an autonomous practitioner carrying clinical responsibility for a caseload of Children & Young people, delivering high quality, safe / effective care in a variety of settings across the community (Home, Schools, Nurseries, and Child Development Centres). Recent experience of working with children and young people within an acute or community setting is essential. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act on your own initiative and organise your own workload. You will be flexible to meet the service needs of the children and their families.
