Job summary

SUEZ is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in the United Kingdom to perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring safe, reliable plant operation. The role requires compliance with wiring regulations BS7671 and strong CMMS usage.

You will provide technical support and supervision to junior team members and contractors, collaborating across site functions to deliver safe, compliant maintenance across our UK sites.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship completed; City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
• Proficient in computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of wiring regulations BS7671 (18th edition).
• Health and safety qualification/experience; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe and reliable plant operation.
• Ensure all plant installations, upgrades and modifications comply with wiring regulations, standards and statutory requirements.
• Provide technical support, guidance and supervision to junior team members and contractors, while working collaboratively across site functions.
