What you will be doing

At Sturt House, a recovery-focused, rehabilitation unit providing specialist mental health treatment for males aged 18 and over, your responsibilities will include welcoming visitors, coordinating the office diary for meetings and events, and handling telephone calls, emails, and post efficiently. Ensuring the safety and security of service users, staff, and visitors is a top priority, including overseeing visitor sign-ins, conducting security checks, and managing the distribution of keys and security badges.

As a Receptionist, you will be:
  • Welcoming visitors and ensuring they sign the visitor book.
  • Maintaining the reception area and meeting rooms to be presentable.
  • Managing the office diary for meetings, events, training days, and therapy sessions.
  • Ensuring confidentiality and security of the service.
  • Receiving and dealing with telephone calls, emails, and post.
  • Ensuring all appropriate leaflets and brochures are on display.

Where you will be working:

Location: Sturt's Ln, Walton on the Hill, Tadworth KT20 7RQ

You will be working at Sturt House, a recovery-focused, rehabilitation unit providing specialist mental health treatment for males aged 18 and over. You will work as part of a team, providing individualized care and treatment using least restrictive and safe practice principles to support service users in their recovery.

Sturt House is committed to delivering high standards of care, encouraging and supporting service users to be actively involved in developing and reviewing their treatment and recovery pathways according to their abilities.
