Alumni Global is delighted to be supporting an NHS provider in the South to appoint an experienced and strategic Interim Chief Financial Officer.

This pivotal appointment comes at a time of significant operational and financial complexity across the wider system. The successful candidate will join a high-performing executive team and play a critical leadership role in stabilising the Trust’s financial position, driving transformation, and embedding financial discipline throughout the organisation.

Working alongside executive colleagues and reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Interim CFO will be responsible for:

• Delivering robust financial stewardship during a period of heightened external scrutiny
• Supporting the organisation's recovery trajectory within a constrained financial envelope
• Providing confident leadership to the finance function, driving insight and accountability
• Engaging constructively with NHS England, the ICB, and key system stakeholders

This opportunity will suit a seasoned NHS finance leader with a strong track record of interim or substantive Board-level roles in challenged or complex environments. Experience of leading financial improvement, working with regulators, and navigating Integrated Care System dynamics will be essential.
