Senior Marketing Executive at Finatal - Private Equity

Finatal are partnering with a dynamic, private equity-backed design business in search of a commercially astute and technically strong CFO. With circa £5m EBITDA and ambitious international growth plans, the company is at an exciting inflection point — expanding both online direct-to-consumer and through established B2B retail partnerships.

This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role for a CFO who is eager to professionalise and scale a high-growth, design-led organisation post-investment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the finance function and professionalise systems, controls, and reporting in line with PE expectations
Act as a key business partner to the CEO and wider leadership team, driving commercial decision-making
Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
Provide strategic insight on international expansion, pricing, and profitability
Oversee working capital and cash management, including inventory and supply chain finance
Ensure compliance with royalty, licensing, and contractual obligations
Support M&A and potential future exit planning alongside the private equity partners

Key Requirements:

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
Experience in a PE-backed or fast-paced growth environment
Commercially savvy with a proven track record of business partnering at senior level
Strong understanding of stock, royalties, and/or licensor models
Familiarity with e-commerce, retail, or design/consumer products sectors
Hands-on approach – comfortable rolling up sleeves and building a best-in-class finance function
Confident communicator, capable of influencing at board level and beyond
