Finance Manager

Location: Hybrid (Minimum 2 days per week in the office)

Are you an experienced finance professional looking to step into a leadership role within the education sector?
We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead our Financial Accounting function at a well-established Further Education College.

The Role:

1. Lead and support a team of three across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Procurement.
2. Oversee and deliver robust month-end reporting.
3. Manage statutory reporting and audit preparation to ensure compliance.
4. Drive improvements in financial controls and processes.

About You:

1. Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) - or Qualified by Experience with strong financial accounting expertise.
2. Experience in the public sector or further education (preferred but not essential).
3. Thrives in a leadership role, supporting and developing their team.
4. Excellent knowledge of financial reporting and audit preparation.
