Job description

As a Sustainable Supply Chain Co-ordinator, you will actively support procurement and sustainability initiatives across a diverse range of products and services, including Smart Technology, Cloud & Data Centre, Digital Workspace, PPE & Workwear, Facilities, and Workplace Supplies. You will collaborate closely with procurement colleagues and sustainability specialists to manage supplier relationships, ensure compliance, promote best practices, and support the company's environmental objectives.

This role involves working with the Head of Procurement to drive the Supplier Relationship Management programme, establishing strong relationships with key suppliers, and ensuring relevant stakeholders have access to necessary training and certifications.

Your responsibilities as a Sustainable Supply Chain Co-ordinator include:

• Collaborating with sustainability teams on data collection, reporting, and improvement strategies related to Scope 3 emissions, audits (e.g., EcoVadis, ISO standards, GHG Protocol).
• Supporting supplier sustainability practices and compliance with regulations and frameworks.
• Onboarding new suppliers with thorough due diligence to ensure compliance with standards and legal requirements.
• Sourcing new product and service opportunities and presenting them to senior stakeholders.
• Analyzing supplier data to identify opportunities for spend consolidation and sustainability enhancements.
• Producing regular reports on supplier performance focusing on sustainability metrics, compliance, and environmental impact.
• Gaining a comprehensive understanding of suppliers, products, and services to meet science-based targets.
• Working with suppliers to utilize marketing funds and resources to promote services and increase sales.
• Developing marketing strategies aligned with supplier programs and monitoring fund utilization for ROI.
• Creating strategies for transitioning clients from end-of-life products to newer offerings with minimal disruption.

About You

• Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Sustainability is highly desirable.
• A degree in Environmental Science, Business, Geography, or related field is beneficial but not essential.
• Analytical with a positive approach to data interpretation and high attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to implement creative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Effective interdepartmental communication abilities.
• Highly organized with strong administrative skills.
