Job Title: Associate Electronics PCB Design Engineer Ref. 956

Department: Engineering

Salary: £36,330 - £39,055

Job description

Salary awarded is based on skills assessment at interview.

This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, or part-time with a minimum coverage of 28 hours per week. Flexible or compressed working hours are available.

This role is office-based.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building, and testing electronic circuits and printed circuit boards.
  • Collaborating with product development teams to create hardware solutions for security products.
  • Modifying existing designs and participating in multidisciplinary design efforts.
  • Supporting product verification, troubleshooting, and library management.

More About You

You will already have:

  • Experience in the design and test of analogue, digital, and microcontroller-based systems.
  • An understanding of product and system design and development.
  • Relevant work experience or qualifications, equivalent to/or an HND in electrical/electronic engineering.

Beneficial but not essential:

  • Further qualifications in electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering (2:2 or higher).
  • Experience in electronic schematic capture, PCB design, RF, EMC, and signal integrity.
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.

Putting your skills to use

You will be involved in the full product development process, designing and developing electronic PCB systems, verifying designs, supporting products, and contributing to project planning.
