Join the Manufacturing team at JLR’s Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC) to help power iconic electric cars. Collaborate with technicians and leaders to drive our commitment to a sustainable future, utilizing your expertise, innovative technology, and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient and high-quality production.

As an Assembly Manufacturing Process Engineer within our Current Manufacturing Engineering (CME) team, you'll support both current ICE production facilities and future powertrain facilities. You will work closely with Manufacturing Operations and Global Manufacturing Engineering (GME) departments to ensure robust and quality handover of new equipment and facilities.

What to Expect
  • Handle diverse tasks with multiple projects, building relationships across the business.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy in your work output.
  • Pursue personal technical development to meet varying skill levels.
  • Own tasks related to Operations, Engineering (Product Development), and PTME departments.
  • Manage administrative tasks, end-of-year reviews, and workload forecasts.
  • Utilize your knowledge to improve facilities, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
What You'll Need
  • Experience in process engineering within manufacturing, including quality process control tools like PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Audits, and YS/YC cascade.
  • Good understanding of assembly protocols and ability to analyze data from tools like Engineering Workstation and SAP.
  • Familiarity with Process Authoring Tools (GSPAS), simulation, and virtual tools such as Digital-buck and CATIA V5 or V6.
  • Knowledge of inline testing and audit requirements.
  • Ability to work within cross-functional teams and support projects from concept to launch.
