A leading provider of specialist education in North Wales is seeking a Cleaner to maintain a safe and clean environment for students. The role involves cleaning communal areas and offices, requiring a proactive and self-motivated individual. No specific experience is necessary, but knowledge of health and safety practices is a plus.
Cambian Pengwern College is an independent provider of specialist further education in North Wales, offering day, and up to 52-week residential placements for young people aged 16 to 25 with a learning disability and complex needs.
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for helping to provide and maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment for our students who learn and live at Pengwern College. You will work as part of a team to ensure that offices and communal areas are cleaned to a high standard, following health and safety policies and requirements.
You will work within a homely environment, primarily cleaning communal areas and offices between 7 am and 2 pm.
We seek someone who can work independently with a positive, proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, flexible, efficient, takes pride in their work, and understands the importance of their role within the Cambian Pengwern College team.
No specific experience is required; however, knowledge of COSHH, health and safety in the workplace, and/or previous cleaning experience would be advantageous.
