Gleeds Energy is recruiting an Executive - Associate Director level Commercial andProcurement specialist to join our rapidly growing service line as we continue to deliver on long term existing programmes and win new frameworks in sectors such as Nuclear New Build & Decommissioning, Nuclear Fusion, Clean Energy, and Defence.

In this role you will be responsible for leading on the development of commercial models on ultra-high value energy and defence programmes. This will typically involve;

  • Working with client stakeholders to develop the commercial strategy,
  • Support the business case and/approvals processes,
  • Support market engagement activities – particularly testing and refining the commercial approach,
  • Drafting of procurement documentation, commercial evaluation criteria and proformas,
  • Supporting management of the procurement process, and
  • Contract finalisation and mobilisation.

About You

What we are looking for in our next Associate Director

  • Previous proven experience within public sector procurement utilising the Public Contracts Regulations, as well as experience using standard forms of contract such as the NEC suite
  • Experience of developing commercial strategy or experience of commercial management on a high value contract or programme,
  • Previous working experience within relevant industry such as infrastructure, nuclear, energy, etc.
  • Professional qualification and/or membership of the RICS or CIPS is desirable, progress towards this will be supported if not already obtained
