Transactional Finance Manager

Hours: 9am - 5pm (Office-based)
Our client, a successful owner-managed business based in the Coventry area, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Transactional Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. As the Transactional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the transactional finance function. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day management of transactional finance operations.
Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor cash flow and manage daily banking activities.
Prepare and analyse financial reports related to transactional processes.
Reconcile ledgers, process payments, and manage invoice queries.
Implement and maintain strong financial controls and processes.
Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Assist in financial planning and forecasting.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Transactional Finance Manager or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
Proficiency in finance software and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
A proactive approach to process improvement and problem-solving.
