Service Transition Manager, United Kingdom

We are recruiting for several Service Transition Managers to work remotely in the UK for a financial services client.

This role involves managing the introduction of change across services, ensuring decision-making aligns with safeguarding and protecting live services.

Responsibilities

• Improve live service quality by enhancing change processes with a focus on end-user experience.
• Ensure quality standards, including non-functional requirements, are applied to all changes.
• Define and improve management systems to track service improvements from transition activities.
• Manage Release & Change processes and stakeholder groups across departments.
• Collaborate with release/implementation teams for continuous process improvement.
• Develop service design packs covering SLAs, support models, RACIs, etc.

Requirements

• Experience in Service Management, Release, or Service Introduction roles.
• Background in management and risk assessment strategies.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and services.
• Understanding of Project Management principles.
• Experience with ServiceNow is desirable.
• Hands-on experience in Release Management.
• Knowledge of the Financial Services industry is a plus but not essential.

This position is fully remote in the UK, with a six-month contract. The rate is £300 - £334 per day via umbrella, inside IR35.
