Job description

Job Title: Project Supervisor

Westlakes Recruit is currently recruiting for a Project Supervisor on a contract basis in Thurso, Scotland.

Purpose of the Role: To supervise the safe delivery of physical work, ensuring safety, security, and environmental compliance by SQEP individuals, with appropriate intervention when necessary. The role requires awareness of legal implications and the scope and boundaries of the tasks carried out.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise operations within the normal operating envelope of the facility safety case or project plan.
2. Supervise all projects, including those in non-nuclear locations.
3. Be present at the facility, contactable, and able to attend the workplace within approximately ten minutes during significant operations.
4. Support contingencies that may arise during operations.
5. Remain responsible for safety and supervision even if not physically present at the work site.
6. For Category 1 Facilities, act as a Duly Authorised Person under Licence Condition 12.
