Head of Digital Marketing

Location: United Kingdom - based in either London, Birmingham or Nottingham

Our client, a well-established and innovative IT software solutions provider, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Digital Marketing to lead their digital strategy and growth initiatives. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation at the forefront of digital transformation, supporting clients across a range of industries with cutting-edge technology and tailored IT services.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the COO, the Head of Digital Marketing will be responsible for shaping and executing the company's digital marketing vision, driving brand visibility, lead generation, and customer engagement across all digital channels. The successful candidate will lead a small, agile team and collaborate closely with sales, product, and technical teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that supports business growth and brand positioning.
  • Oversee performance marketing (SEO, PPC, email, social, content, and programmatic) to generate qualified leads and improve conversion rates.
  • Drive the development and optimisation of digital assets including the company website, campaign landing pages, and marketing automation tools.
  • Lead data-driven decision-making through analytics, reporting, and marketing performance metrics.
  • Manage digital marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and ROI.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging platforms, and marketing innovations.
  • Mentor and manage a high-performing digital marketing team.

Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience in a senior digital marketing role within the IT or technology sector.
  • Demonstrable success in planning and executing multi-channel digital campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation tools, CRM platforms, and web analytics (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics).
  • Strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Commercially astute with a data-driven approach to marketing performance.
