AWS Architect – 1-Month Rolling Contract

Location: Fully Remote

We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect for a 1-month rolling contract to work with a leading consultancy on a project for a pharmaceutical client.

Objectives:

1. Conduct a detailed audit of the client’s existing AWS infrastructure.
2. Design and implement an equivalent architecture in a new AWS environment.
3. Ensure functional, security, and performance parity between environments.
4. Provide clear, well-structured documentation for deployment and ongoing management.
5. Collaborate with internal and client-side stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an AWS Solutions Architect (5+ years preferred).
• Deep expertise in AWS services such as VPC, EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, Lambda, Route53, CloudFormation, etc.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, and cloud governance.
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies.
• Experience in replicating or migrating complex multi-account AWS environments.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional) are strongly preferred.
• Experience working with clients in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, government).
